How do we use and protect your data?
- GGather primarily uses your data to provide you this bookmarking service. We also use your data to communicate with you via marketing/promotional emails (you can unsubscribe from those) and to analyze usage of GGather.
- In real life nothing is impenetrable and even the most secure services can be vulnerable. However, we put priority into making GGather to be secure service and to minimize that risk. We use modern techniques and frameworks to keep your data safe. If you find any security vulnerability please contact us.
- We do not have ads on GGather and we are not using retargeting practices.
- We will never sell your data to anyone.
- We will share your data only with third party services that are used to build, maintain, grow and analyze usage of GGather.
- We do not embed any questionable social media or third party service widgets (like "Facebook like" button or similar) that could track you. With exception to embed widgets/frames for some websites that you might save in your library and view through GGather Viewer feature (websites like SoundCloud, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook Video, etc.). We however still try to minimize tracking in these cases by e.g. using YouTube "no-cookie" embedding.
- We use and work only with reputable third party services that we've chosen based on their reputation and data usage practices. We aim to use as few third party services as we can.
